COVID-19 Health and Safety Update


At ReadyRefresh, we operate at a very high standard of quality, health and safety. As a division of Nestlé, we impose strict safety protocols and measures that meet or exceed the relevant standard requirements. We would like you to know that we have implemented additional measures to further support quality, health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. These measures will remain in place for the time being as part of our continuing effort to ensure that we deliver your hydration as safely as possible.

  • Health Screenings: ReadyRefresh employees are required to partake in daily health and temperature checks prior to the start of each shift to ensure they are healthy and able to work. We will continue to mandate that employees showing any cold or flu-like symptoms stay home. If an employee is impacted by coronavirus, ReadyRefresh® will offer enhanced benefits including additional time off without reducing sick leave or vacation time allowances.

  • Social Distancing: All ReadyRefresh employees are instructed to abide by the 6-foot social distance rule. We have implemented touchless operations to support mandatory social distancing measures. We will continue to assign one ReadyRefresh driver per truck including permitting no more than one driver per cab. Upon arriving for their shift, our drivers proceed directly to their assigned trucks in order to limit contact with others and contact inside our facilities. Truck safety protocol remains in place and continues to be strictly monitored. We will also continue to leave all residential deliveries outside of your door.

  • Sanitization: We will continue our increased sanitization efforts across all of our facilities and our entire fleet of delivery trucks.

  • Personal Protective Equipment: ReadyRefresh employees will continue to receive personal protective equipment including gloves, disposable masks and hand sanitizer. Further, we will continue to ensure adherence to government guidelines regarding the use of masks and gloves.

  • New Ways of Working: To further ensure the health and safety of our customers and employees, we have an increased emphasis on personal hygiene, and introduced new ways of working to minimize social contact including virtual company communication and virtual new hire training.

Doing right by our customers and community is always important to us. During the pandemic, our ReadyRefresh Service Representatives have been proud to continue bringing healthy hydration to all of our customers, including those on the frontline providing essential services, our Neighborhood Heroes. Our representatives wanted to do more, so in May 2020, ReadyRefresh launched a Shared Value community support initiative aimed at lifting up the communities where we live and operate. Over a four-week period, our ReadyRefresh Service Representatives across the country donated more than 275,000 bottles of water to more than 10,600 nurses, doctors, police officers, firefighters, baristas, delivery persons, mail carriers and many other customers along their routes working in essential services. While a small expression of our gratitude, these donations went a long way – bringing a sense of pride to our representatives and happiness to our customers.
