AquaEaseTM is a Water Cartridge system that replaces all internal cold water-contact parts. The used water cartridge is completely removed from the dispenser, and the new one is installed in its place. Once pressurized, the sealed system will prevent air from making contact with the water in the reservoir.

No, at this time, LuminaTM is only available for purchase.

ReadyRefresh® recommends that the AquaEaseTM Water Cartridge be replaced every three months.

Your AquaEaseTM has been designed for one use only and it is not recommended for cleaning or reuse.

The AquaEaseTM is perfectly safe to use. All materials used in AquaEaseTM are FDA approved for food contact, and it meets BlueTriton Brands strict quality standards for food contact.

class="MsoNormal">style="font-size: 16px;color: #222;">Will my ReadyRefresh® Service Representative (delivery person) replace the AquaEaseTM / change a bottle of water for me?

When the dispenser is delivered, your service representative will set it up for you. This includes installing the water filter and loading a new water bottle. Later on, you can change the water and filter by yourself using the instructions under the lid. If you would rather have a professional do it instead, please call customer service to submit your request. Please note there is a fee associated with this service.

A small, red indicator light makes it easy to know when to change the bottle or replace the AquaEaseTM Water Cartridge. A solid red light means it’s time to change the bottle of water (it’s nearly empty). A flashing red light means it’s time to change the AquaEaseTM Water Cartridge (occurs every three months).

Squeeze the red safety lever up to the chrome lever and press downwards to dispense water. Release the lever to reactivate the safety lock.

Yes, the entire bottle cap needs to be fully removed so the AquaEaseTM Water Cartridge can be installed correctly.

style="">A pre-delivery credit card authorization validates information with your credit card company such as your credit card number, status, and available credit line to cover the amount of your upcoming delivery. At this point your card has not been charged, but there will be a hold for that dollar amount, reducing your available credit line, pending your upcoming delivery. The actual charge for the amount will not occur until after your delivery is made.

style="">Also, please note that before authorizing your credit card, your credit card company may attempt to contact you for additional information.

style="font-size: 16px;color: #222;">What happens to my pre-delivery credit card authorization hold if my order is cancelled/skipped?

style="">If your delivery is cancelled/skipped for any reason the amount of the hold will expire. However, please keep in mind that timing for the funds to be available again will vary depending upon the issuing credit card company’s timeframe and may take up to a billing cycle to be available again.

  3. class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="">style="">Carefully fill the reservoir with boiling hot water and wait 3 minutes. ALWAYS BE CAREFUL NOT TO SPILL BOILING HOT WATER ON YOURSELF!
  4. class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="">style="">Use rubber gloves and a scrub brush (never use steel wool or anything abrasive) to clean the reservoir and baffle.
  5. class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="">style="">Place the baffle upside down in the reservoir and drain the water through the spigot.
  6. class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="">style="">Pour more boiling hot water into the reservoir, then clean the spigots, body, and handles.
  7. class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="">style="">Drain all the water through the spigots.
  8. class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="">style="">Rinse, dry, and replace the baffle and plastic top. Place a full bottle of water on top.
  9. class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="">style="">If you have a hot water dispenser, remove the air from the tank by opening the hot spigot until the water flows freely.
  10. class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="">style="">Plug in the unit and allow a few minutes for the water in your dispenser to heat up or cool down.

style="">style="">IMPORTANT: Once water flows freely and air is removed, you can plug your cooler into a grounded receptacle.

style="">style="">Cleaning the Drip Tray: The drip tray catches occasional spills and should be emptied and cleaned monthly. To do so, remove the drip tray, clean it with mild soap and water, then rinse and dry it thoroughly.

style="">style="">The only thing we love as much as our customers is our planet. In an effort to reduce waste and care for the environment, BlueTriton Brands, Inc. has instituted various programs that decrease the amount of raw materials used in our bottling process. Among these programs is the reuse of our 3- and 5-gallon containers in fact, our company leads the industry in the reuse of these containers. They are returnable and can be washed, sanitized, and reused many times over their life span. We recycle these bottles ourselves, using extensive inspection and sanitation procedures.

style="color: #222;font-size: 16px;">Are there bisphenol-A-free alternatives to polycarbonate, and does BlueTriton Brands, Inc. use them?

style="">style="">Say what? No way! All of our single-serve bottles, from 8 ounces to 3 liters, as well as our 1-gallon and 2.5-gallon bottles are completely BPA-free. Additionally, all of our 5-gallon bottles are now made of PET #1 plastic which is also BPA-free. Our 3-gallon bottles are currently made from polycarbonate #7 plastic, a strong, clear and reusable type of plastic, which may contain trace levels of BPA. The FDA has recently (again) confirmed the safety of BPA for current approved uses in food containers and packaging.

style="">style="">However, based on consumer preference, we are planning to transition our 3-gallon bottles to BPA-free plastic bottles in the near future.
